General Terms & Conditions

  • Customers agree that Pittsburgh Pro Car Care shall not be held liable for any pre-existing damages or defects, or any damages incurred in connection with any services, except those incurred due to negligence by Pittsburgh Pro Car Care.
  • Customers should remove all personal belongings, money, and other significant items from their vehicle prior to any type of service performed at Pittsburgh Pro Car Care. Pittsburgh Pro Car Care shall not be held liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle at time of service.
  • All vehicles are cleaned at the customer’s own risk and must be able to withstand normal cleaning processes.
  • All vehicles are subject to pre-service inspection.
  • Pittsburgh Pro Car Care does not accept liability for discharged batteries during or after the service has been completed. Please inspect your vehicle after the service is rendered to assure all interior lights, headlights, or running lights have been turned off.
  • Our detailing times are an estimate only. Each vehicle is different and may require more or less time to fulfill the selected service.
  • We reserve the right to require a 25% scheduling fee/deposit of the total estimated service price to secure the appointment. We accept VISA, Discover, Mastercard, AmEx, GooglePay, ApplePay, check or cash. This scheduling fee/deposit is credited towards your balance once service is completed.
  • The scheduling fee/deposit is due immediately upon scheduling. If payment cannot be made at the time of scheduling, Pittsburgh Pro Car Care will reserve your appointment slot for a period of 72 hours. Failure to submit the scheduling fee/deposit within these time parameters will result in a cancelled appointment.
  • Pittsburgh Pro Car Care reserves the right to alter an appointment or move an appointment in accordance with its staff levels, weather conditions and/or equipment failure without penalty to the company.
  • Pittsburgh Pro Car Care reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
  • Pittsburgh Pro Car Care reserves the right to refuse or deny customer demands above and beyond the scheduled service.
  • Pittsburgh Pro Car Care will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse towards any of its staff under any circumstances and will take relevant actions should any such behaviors be encountered. 

 

Pricing

  • Any jobs that involve pet hair, urine, vomit, blood, feces, or other hazardous materials may be subject to revised pricing after initial inspection.
  • Our prices are based on service type, size of vehicle, and condition of the vehicle upon arrival at our shop and will be advertised as STARTING price.
  • Pittsburgh Pro Car Care reserves the right to amend any price during the service, should it differ from the original estimate. Any changes in pricing will be relayed to the customer before commencement of service.
  • Our advertised prices do not include any local and/or state taxes or gratuity.
  • Proposals are valid for a period of 30 days from date of issuance.

 

Communication

  • Pittsburgh Pro Car Care may send SMS text messages or emails to confirm your scheduled service, provide 48-hour appointment reminders, and to conduct a customer satisfaction survey after the job is completed. Depending on your mobile phone service, you may incur costs from these SMS text messages from your mobile phone service provider. Pittsburgh Pro Car Care is not responsible for any of these potential costs. You may opt-out of these messages at any time.
  • For inquiries submitted electronically, Pittsburgh Pro Car Care may call you directly for more information or clarification or to schedule your service.

 

Cancellation Policy

  • Appointments cancelled up to 48 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment date/time are eligible for a full refund of the scheduling fee/deposit.
  • Appointments cancelled up to 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment date/time are eligible for a one-time transfer of the scheduling fee/deposit to the new rescheduled appointment. 
  • Failure to provide 24 hours’ advance notice of cancellation will result in a forfeiture of the scheduling fee/deposit.
  • Pittsburgh Pro Car Care reserves the right to refuse to reschedule any cancelled appointments not in compliance with the Cancellation Policy.
  • Pittsburgh Pro Car Care reserves the right to require the resubmission of the 25% scheduling fee/deposit for any cancelled appointments not in compliance with the Cancellation Policy.
  • Failure to submit the scheduling fee/deposit as outlined in General Terms & Conditions will result in a cancelled appointment.

 

Service Guarantee

  • If there is probable and clear cause that Pittsburgh Pro Car Care did not fulfill the package as quoted or if there is clear evidence of poor craftsmanship, we will at our cost refund or redo the uncompleted or unsatisfactory portion of the service.
  • Cleaning or repairing the vehicle personally or professionally after the initial service without authorization from Pittsburgh Pro Car Care voids our Service Guarantee. Redos, refunds, or reimbursements will not be made after any unauthorized cleaning or repairs.
  • Refusing a redo appointment for the unsatisfactory portion of your service limits any refunds to 20% of the value of your service.
  • Failure to disclose any conditional issues that involve heavy stains, foul odors, human or animal biological waste, mold, mildew, chemical spills, chemical overspray, or any other hazardous materials at the time of scheduling and/or service voids our service guarantee. No refunds, redos, or any additional work will be performed outside of the original package or estimate.
  • Some issues may require services beyond those you requested. Refusing the services recommended by any Pittsburgh Pro Car Care technician may invalidate the service guarantee.
  • Payment is due at the completion of your service. Refusal or failure to pay for your service invalidates our service guarantee and any redo services or discounts are at the sole discretion of Pittsburgh Pro Car Care.
  • Any claims must be filed within 48 hours of the completion of the service by emailing (pittsburghprocarcare@gmail.com). Pictures of the unsatisfactory portion of the service must be emailed within 24 hours of the claim being made.

 

Gift Cards

  • Gift cards expire and lose their value after five (5) years of inactivity after the initial date of purchase.
  • Gift cards reflect a cash value. Prices for services may adjust due to seasonality, inflation, or demand.
  • The final price for services rendered may exceed the value of the gift card.
  • Additional charges may apply to the redeemer if they choose a package that exceeds the cash value of their gift card.
  • Additional surcharges for excessive pet hair, biological waste, other hazardous materials, larger vehicles, excessive damage, or other issues may apply.
  • Any balances for services ordered are due at time of service and do not include additional services, tax, or gratuity.

Window Tint Disclaimer

Window Tint Disclaimer

  • Customers agree that tint is to be used for recreational purposes only and accept any and all liability for window tint violations.
  • Your tint warranty is provided directly by the film manufacturer. 
  • Pittsburgh Pro Car Care does not warranty against product defects.
  • Customers agree that Pittsburgh Pro Car Care shall not be held liable for any pre-existing damages or defects, or any damages incurred in connection with any services, except those incurred due to negligence by Pittsburgh Pro Car Care.
  • Customers should remove all personal belongings, money, and other significant items from their vehicle prior to any type of service performed at Pittsburgh Pro Car Care. Pittsburgh Pro Car Care shall not be held liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle at time of service.
  • Prices do not include the removal of old film. Prices for film removal are based on the condition of the vehicle, film, and glass. Any additional fees to remove your old film will be discussed prior to your service commencing.
  • Customers acknowledge that windows must not be rolled down for a period of 3-5 days after tint installation.
  • Customers acknowledge that bubbles and haziness (the moisture between the glass and the film) may be present until the film has fully cured. This process can take 30-60 days depending upon the type of film you select and the environment your vehicle is stored in. Avoid using abrasive washing cloths as well as drying towels when cleaning the film. Do not use any ammonia-based products to clean the film, only use tint safe products.
  • Pittsburgh Pro Car Care reserves the right to refuse redos of any tint service if damage is due to Customer’s own negligence, lack of care, or improper maintenance. Pittsburgh Pro Car Care does not accept responsibility for chips or peeling due to seatbelt-caused damage.
